A beautiful painting
The title of this painting is “The Reverend and Mrs Palmer-Lovell and their daughters Georgina and Christina”. It’s by Augustus Leopold Egg. He painted it in the nineteenth century.
In this painting the family are in the living room and there are lots of paintings on the wall.
Mrs Palmer-Lovell is wearing a white dress. She’s playing the piano. She’s feeling calm.
The Reverend Palmer-Lovell is wearing a black jacket. He’s listening to the music.
There are two children in the picture and there’s another woman, too. The woman is wearing a green dress. She’s looking after the children. One girl is wearing a green dress. She’s dancing. The other girl is wearing a white dress with a blue bow.
This painting makes people feel happy because of the bright colours and the calm mood. It’s very beautiful.
